Where to eat near
Granada Cathedral

Pimienta Rosa is at Plaza Pescadería 4, a few minutes' walk from Granada Cathedral, passing through the Alcaicería and Plaza de Bib-Rambla. We open without a break from 12:30 to 23:00 — Fridays and Saturdays until 23:30 — so you can stop for a meal whenever your visit ends.

A short walk around what's nearby

All of this is a walk from our door, with no transport needed:

  • Granada Cathedral: the city's great Renaissance church.
  • Royal Chapel (Capilla Real): where the Catholic Monarchs are buried, right next to the Cathedral.
  • La Madraza: the former Nasrid Qur'anic school, opposite the Royal Chapel.
  • Alcaicería: the maze of little streets of the old silk market, now full of shops.
  • Plaza de Bib-Rambla: the square of flowers and terraces, right next to ours.
  • Corral del Carbón: a 14th-century Nasrid alhóndiga (merchants' inn), on the other side of Reyes Católicos.

If you're coming from the Alhambra or the Albaicín

From Plaza Nueva, where the Cuesta de Gomérez coming down from the Alhambra and the Carrera del Darro coming down from the Albaicín both end, you can cross the centre on foot in a few minutes towards the Cathedral. It's a good plan for ending a morning of monuments with your table already booked.

What to eat after your visit

Market cuisine, to share or to sit down to calmly: plates in the middle of the table, rice dishes in a paella pan, meat, fish and desserts. The menu is translated into seven languages, with the price and allergens on every dish, and it carries the Spanish name so that ordering is easy.
